Keep the first decision small
Pick a night
Tonight or the weekend? Decide that first. In pre, you can browse events and the map, then check the details before committing.
Pick your people
Invite a friend, make plans with a Circle or go on your own. You don’t need your whole group chat to agree before finding something you want to do.
From the chat to the door
Choose one plan
Find an event you actually want to go to. Check the date, location, age requirements and whether tickets are still available.
Get a real yes
Share the plan with your friends. On pre, RSVP or buy your ticket so it appears in My Plans. A Circle keeps its members’ plans and chat together.
Agree where to meet
Choose a meeting point and time. “At the station” is a start. Which exit is the useful bit. Keep any private event address within the access rules set by the host.
Have your ticket ready
Open your entry pass before you reach the door. Eligible iPhone tickets can be added to Apple Wallet. Follow the host’s check-in instructions.
Bringing your friends
Nobody in the chat uses pre yet?
You can start on your own by exploring public events. If a friend wants to join you on pre, they’ll need a pre account to RSVP, buy tickets or join a Circle’s chat. They can use the iPhone app or the web. Private and student-only events can have extra access requirements.
A few useful answers
Do I have to be a student?
No. University verification is optional. An eligible school email can add university verification to your profile and unlock student-only events.
Can I go to an event alone?
Yes. You can discover public events and RSVP or buy a ticket without joining a Circle or bringing friends. Check each event’s entry requirements and availability.
What should I check before paying?
Check the full ticket total, date, location information, refund terms and age requirements. Paid tickets include applicable fees. Keep your entry pass handy and follow the organizer’s instructions.
